BODEGA Share New Track 'Weather Me,' Announce 'All Inside Aquarium'

BODEGA have shared “Weather Me,” a new single and video pulled from their forthcoming album All Inside Aquarium, out October 9.

Vocalist Nikki Belfiglio frames the track as a survival guide for the modern news cycle: “This is a track about living in an information kaleidoscope full of everyday grievances alongside very real problems. If you don’t know who or what to prioritize, this kaleidoscope can fracture your everyday existence. You must stand strong and weather the current.” That’s the whole BODEGA project in miniature — deadpan, wired, allergic to numbness — and “Weather Me” carries the same nervy energy that’s made the band one of the most reliable live acts to come out of the New York DIY circuit.

The band kicks off a run of dates in Brooklyn on August 19 before heading to the UK and Ireland this November. In an unrelated but very BODEGA-adjacent development, member Ben Hozie is also producing a feature film called Jack London Calling, which will star Nikki alongside members of Gustaf and Priests — proof that the extended BODEGA universe never really clocks out.
