Huge New Music Friday: Jack White's 'Frozen Charlotte,' Sad13's '1331,' Allison Russell's 'In the Hour of Chaos'

This was a lot for one Friday. Jack White released Frozen Charlotte, Speedy Ortiz’s Sadie Dupuis put out a new Sad13 record titled 1331, and Allison Russell shared In the Hour of Chaos. On the heavier end, NYC hardcore outfit Show Me the Body released Alone Together, and actor-turned-musician Finn Wolfhard put out his solo debut, Fire From the Hip.

Rounding out the day: She’s Green’s Swallowtail, Baby Smith’s Lately, Love Is Dead, Ebbb’s Shallow Hits, Holy Wave’s i’m DADA, Maquina.‘s BODY TRANSMISSION, and The Xcerts’ I Think I Want to Go Home Now. Eleven records on one release day is genuinely a lot to sit with — pace yourself.
